Just read A Summer Love and Claire’s Island, by author Becka L. Jones, certainly she brings stories to life. I live in Hawaii Nei and I was blessed to have Becka for a much too brief time as my neighbor. I couldn’t stop reading until the end of both stories, I had the feeling I was there experiencing every moment. I was so touched by the beauty and truth revealed. I needed several kleenexes to get me through to the end. Tragedy, but ending with tears of joy and happiness, all emotions came to the surface, I can’t wait to read more. This teen story is so real to life that many people could find themselves in it in their younger years. The author is so descriptive that the reader actually feels as if they are there, experiencing each and every thing the teens are living with. It is a faith-based story that includes all aspects of life; first love, adventure, daily life, tragedy, and humor. Once I started to read it, I couldn't put it down. Becka really knows how to describe the beauty of each location, especially Hawaii, where she lived for many years. I am not much of a romance novel reader anymore, but this one is clean, not trashy.
